I wonder, how many of those chastity are bought by women while buying their vibrators? Luring a submissive to his oral and anal fate is top priority for some women.
Realistically, very few *at this point in history*. Apart from anything else, it's hard to buy a device for somebody else. Over on the chastitytraining subreddit, we generally advise dommes to tasks their subs with the purchase and shakedown period.
Not me ,but don’t chastise me for not being chaste. I like dangling free, reluctantly even although it quite often does , I feel it doesn’t get used often enough
An admirable analysis, even if it is next to impossible to really know what's going on with Amazon and sales. For me, the more engaging question is how men might be expanding their idea of what sex is and that it might not always be (as sex therapists say) "productive". We've known for a while now that the brain is the largest sex organ, so it seems that men may be realizing more and more that pleasure can exist in a cerebral space without needing (physical) climax or even genital stimulation.
Well I own two, a plastic one for outside wear, have worn it to events, visiting her parents etc, and a metal one for play - I find it too heavy and bulky to wear all day and it’s a lot more obvious than the plastic ones under clothes. I agree that they have become more common, when we bought our first in a sex shop they were rare, the shop didn’t sell many there was a lot less variety and the shopkeeper was very intrigued, tbh it was pretty embarrassing as it was obvious who out of the two of us would be wearing it! These days most sex shops sell them and no one is even vaguely shocked or surprised when you buy one.
The nice thing about the Amazon calculation is that it's about *rates* of purchasing, so we can hope that owners of multiple chastity cages are cancelled out by owners of multiple vibrators.
Yes I’ve bought many over the years and all from sex shops. Years ago not many stocked them whereas these days many do, which says everything you need to know about their increasing popularity. As you say the calculation based on Amazon looks sound as it’s based on similar types of products, although obviously one is designed to give pleasure while the other is quite the reverse!
I’m no expert but I get a lot of my cages through Temu. Because the prices are so low compared to US prices and are the same products as I have interchange parts. There are some on eBay also and shops like oxsiy? That have cages at good prices along with other sites that I did not list so seeing this I would say that the number is higher but how many men wear them daily? I bet that number is lower. World wide market I bet lots of men wear them. Why we wear them? Before sex it can be great foreplay. For the true chastity lovers keeping their domms or wives happy or extended foreplay. For me it’s everything plus not having a consistent size the cage gives me that larger look and if in public I get hard I’m never embarrassed because I can’t go any further. So I imagine it’s like wearing a bra it is good but needs to come off once in awhile. Anyway I have multiple sizes the biggest problem is ring size I hope manufacturers catch on and sell rings both metal and plastic for extra convenience. I know as I lose weight my ring size needs to decrease. Good article thanks

Okay, so it is sort of like ordering a sub to measure, field test and then send the domme the keys? Kewel!
Well in an ideal world, he would be in an in person relationship and handing them over, but yes.
As for the this:
> Luring a submissive to his oral and anal fate is top priority for some women.
I think women like that exist but are rare. It's more likely be to do with the reasons explored in this article:

Yes. Though, I think it's less about personal growth etc and more about the extended plateau phase being addictive.

I have one. I just bought it to try it out. 😊😊
See!

From an actual sex shop!

Though you could look at a chastity cage as helping men lengthen our "plateau phase" whereas the vibrator helps women with their climax.
