I wear this necklace and it appears totally vanilla (until someone asks me to remove it for a massage or X-ray). I don't have the required tool to remove it and Mistress inadvertently left it in America for our year abroad. I figure if an MRI is required, it can be cut off. https://www.eternitycollars.com/collections/jewelry/products/chain-necklace-with-locking-clasp?variant=41352817279112

Very nice! I'm still too square to wear something like that.

Lifestyle means just that, lifestyle. Life long style of living with what ever you have chosen as your type of "permanent" devices that you were not born with, but will die with based on your lust with another person. Marriage can be described along those lines. It is a cosey feeling being in a restrictive device with your loved one for life. Chose well and throw the key away!

The exaggerated care around kink safety (not just limited to devices) is imo driven by two things.

1) the feeling that sexual thrills/satisfaction are never a "good enough" reason to risk, well, anything. This is either sex negativity or overcorrection of the fact that people DO take some serious risks driven by lust.

2) it's hot to think we're doing this oh-so-scary stuff. You'd get told off in the "lifestyle spaces" if you say, well, you put your life in someone's hands every time you let someone drive you in the car, never mind go rock climbing or diving or martial arts sparring with them... Kink isn't all that super special, but we like to feel so because transgressive and rebellious and idk, sinful or what? ;)
